The new school brightly colored, a small preview! Een tipje van de sluier, de school staat er prachtig gekleurd op!

Vorige week een impressie van het nieuwe schoolgebouw in de primer. En nu.. een voorproefje.. het nieuwe schoolgebouw staat er gekleurd op. Tipje van de sluier met een aantal detailfoto’s.

Langzaam maar wel heel zeker komen de puzzelstukjes bij elkaar en komt er een prachtig beeld naar voren: een nieuwe primary school die samen met de pre school een prachtige eenheid vormt. Een school voor de toekomst. Een toekomst voor kinderen voor wie onderwijs anders niet binnen bereik zou zijn. Nu wel. Een school binnen bereik, onderwijs binnen bereik, samen met vriendjes en vriendinnetjes, en een betere toekomst voor zichzelf, hun families en hun community binnen bereik.

Dit alles was niet mogelijk geweest zonder de hulp van heel veel betrokken mensen, samenwerkingspartners, ambassadeurs, organisaties en bedrijven. In Nederland en zelfs wereldwijd. Hulp met kennis, met middelen, met geld, met support, enthousiasme, gedrevenheid en betrokkenheid.

Last week I had the honor to present an update about the new school building wrapped in primer. Now I may present you another preview..the new school building is colored.  Now I’m happy to show you a sneak peek by a few detail pics.

 

Slowly but surely, bit by bit, the pieces come together. And I’m sure with some imagination you can make yourself already an inspiring image of the final result coming up. What will come up is a new primary school united with the pre school into a school for the future. A better future for children who have access to school education because of this wonderful school. A school within reach, school education within reach, together with friends, and children being able to build a better future for themselves, their families as their community. All within reach and made possible because of the partners in Livingstone like Kennedy and Rabeccah Mukumbo from Dream Livingstone Zambia, Gig Nidole with John Muleya as contractor and his team, Ministry of Education in Livingstone and its building department, ZAPD, the City Council, Pure Skills, and of course of course the school team, the coach, the school committee, the parents and everyone at the Linda Farm. And also for sure to mention all the sponsors and donors of my foundation Bricks for Zambia in the Netherlands and all over the world. The Lions Club International, Koopmans Bouwgroep, Foundation Wild Geese https://www.wildeganzen.nl/over-ons/english and the Winkel van Sinkel PmC in Grubbenvorst (Netherlands) who all blew the first whistle and started to move the train with this wonderful destination. So many people, ambassadors, organizations and companies more involved themselves too and supported in all kind of ways, to make this dream come true.
