Nog 3 terms te gaan en dan klopt het examen voor de primary school aan. Grade 7 is gisteren gestart met de 2e term van hun laatste schooljaar op de primary school. Onze eerste klas die examen gaat doen. Ze moeten er nog even heel hard aan trekken maar teachers, staf, ouders en wij allemaal, zijn nu al hartstikke trots op hen. Zij zijn de pioniers geweest van de Linda Blind Farm School. Ze waren de eerste pre school leerlingen (sommigen althans), de eerste Grade 1, 2 enzovoorts en nu de eerste Grade 7.
Ze lopen altijd vooruit en maken de weg vrij voor hun vrienden en vriendinnen die een grade lager zitten. Zij zijn eigenlijk de voortrekkers van de Linda Blind Farm School naar de hedendaagse Xavier Community School. Als pioniers banen zij de weg voor alle andere kinderen die hun voordeel kunnen trekken uit de ervaringen van de groep Grade 7 2023-2024. Met vallen en weer opstaan doorlopen de pioniers, enthousiast en gemotiveerd, de hele primary school. En nu zijn zij dadelijk de eerste die de echte examentests van de primary school gaan maken.
Ze doen dit allemaal samen met deputy teacher Veronica. Deputy teacher Veronica komt van een andere school uit Livingstone en maakt nu bijna 2 jaar alweer deel uit van het team dat de Xavier Community School gestaag, enthousiast en vastberaden, verder aan het door ontwikkelen is.
En straks.. straks vanaf January 2025 zijn deze grootse pioniers van de Xavier Community School, de voortrekkers van de Xavier Community Secondary School :). Eerst nog stevig er tegen aan en duimen voor de examens.
Just three terms to go and then it’s exam time for grade 7 classes at primary schools! Grade 7 of the Xavier Community School has just started their second term of their final year at primary school. This is our first class that will be taking the exam. They still have some hard work ahead, but teachers, staff, parents, and all of us are already incredibly proud of them. They have been the pioneers of the Linda Blind Farm School. They were some of the first preschool students, the first in Grade 1, 2, and so on, and now the first Grade 7.
They always lead the way, paving the path for their friends in lower grades. They are truly the trailblazers from Linda Blind Farm School to the current Xavier Community School. As pioneers, they are clearing the way for all other children who can benefit from the experiences of the Grade 7 class of 2023-2024. With ups and downs, the pioneers, enthusiastic and motivated, have journeyed through the entire primary school. And soon, they will be the first to face the real exam tests of primary school.
And soon, from January 2025, these great pioneers of Xavier Community School will be the forerunners at Xavier Community Secondary School :). But first, they need to buckle down and keep our fingers crossed for the exams.
They are doing all this under the inspiring guidance of Deputy Teacher Veronica. Deputy Teacher Veronica, coming from another school in Livingstone, has been part of the team for nearly two years now. Together they are developing Xavier Community School steady and strong.
