Ik krijg vaak berichtjes uit Zambia. Nu heb ik ook een berichtje van Mr Thomas. Ik heb al vaak over hem verteld. Hij is eigenlijk “de burgemeester” van de LInda Blind Farm. Ik had een mail gestuurd met foto’s over de donatie van Oma Leen en over het nabouwen van de school. Ik kreeg verschillende dankbare mails terug. deze is van Mr. Thomas. Hij praat ook over de broken bridge. Misschien hebben jullie mijn blogs eerder daarover gelezen. Ik ben er nog steeds mee bezig. Samen met Anne Smudde. Die is nu een paar maanden in Livingstone om daar een huis voor dakloze kinderen te bouwen vlakbij de Linda Blind Farm in de Linda wijk. Je kunt meer lezen over haar project als je googled op Lilato.

De mail van Mr Thomas:

Dear Xavier, thank you for your surprise and interesting mail. I am really excited to hear about the story of the grandmother of Holland on her birthday 66th anniversary. Thank you very much. Because the money will really help to deliver the furniture to our school and I really thank you, the grandmother, the donators, the sister from the Grand mother about what she did with her secret box. Xavier we really love you and you are the savior of this community. I wish you the best during your trips to your new school and the plans which you and we have about our school and our community. We wish you the best during your school work at your new school and i thank you for the school authority to give you time to speak on how you can raise money for the expansion of the school. I will try to find out the email and Address for our new mayor here in Livingstone.. Please introduce me and everyone else to dutch woman and every one else who is here in Livingstone to see how we can work to the mulala village Bridge and this is very cardinal because the children are not coming to school from mulala. in addition people are cut off from health, Education and other social facilities which are necessary to a human being my regards to Ida, John and Gabor.. always loving you, Thomas.
