Hij had een bijzondere missie: het bezoeken van alle 196 landen van de Verenigde Naties. En hij heeft het gedaan! He had a remarkable mission: to visit all 196 countries of the United Nations.
And he did it! Every single one. In October 2022 he also came by at the Xavier Community School :).

Alle landen bezocht. Sommige landen zelfs 2x want hij returned onder de noemer van”Back in Black” (aan de foto’s zie je meteen waar hij op duidt want John heeft elk bezoek aan elk land nu vastgelegd door zelf ook op de foto te gaan: overal in Black).

Zambia werd land nummer 155. En daarbij wilde John heel graag zelf een kijkje gaan nemen op de Linda Blind Farm School/ the Xavier Community School. En zo is geschied.

John heeft al zijn 196 reizen vereeuwigd in een prachtig fotoboek. Dat is te koop. Bestellen tot 26 oktober 2026. Voor maar 50 euro een werelds werk. Voor elk land een kleurrijke, informatieve pagina. Nu in het Nederlands. Een Engelstalige versie in de toekomst is niet uitgesloten :).

En op 30 november 2025 een echte boekpresentatie in de Schouwburg in Venray. Er zijn nog enkele kaarten vrij. Wees er (heel) snel bij!

De boekpresentatie is verhuisd van het Venrayse Odapark naar de Venrayse Schouwburg. Van 100 naar 265 zitplaatsen, waarvan er nog zo’n 35 beschikbaar zijn anno 05 oktober 2025. Reserveren kan via: info@ohho.nl

De voorinschrijving van het boek loopt t/m zondag 26 oktober, daarna is het boek niet meer te koop.

De prijs van het boek – 320 pagina’s, 29×29 cm, 3,2 kg – is € 50,00. Na bestelling volgt een betaallink. De bestelling is pas na betaling definitief.

De uitgifte van het boek is na afloop van de boekpresentatie op zondag 30 november 2025 (van 14:30 tot 16:00 uur) in de Venrayse Schouwburg.

During that visit, John was eager to see the Linda Blind Farm School — the Xavier Community School — with his own eyes. And so he did.

Originally planned at the Odapark in Venray, the presentation has now moved to the larger Schouwburg venue: from 100 to 265 seats, with about 35 still available as of 5 October 2025.
