Van storm Eunice naar de pre school van de Linda Blind Farm School in 2022. Is there a connection?

Terwijl de stormen Corrie, Dudley en Eunice de afgelopen dagen door Nederland raasden en alles aan het schudden brachten, zaten de kinderen van de pre school, rustig, in hun eigen schoolbankje, op hun eigen stoeltje, met hun eigen boekjes in hun eigen pre school. Zelfs de twee-jarige Tandiwe leert al heel vroeg wennen aan het schoolleven. de Linda Blind Farm School heeft een nursery class, een middle-class and a reception class in de pre school. De kinderen van de pre school, zijn de toekomst van de primary school. Dus dat zit wel snor de komende jaren.

 

Kijk met hoeveel plezier, aandacht en concentratie ze hun werk doen. Wat een ontzettend groot verschil met februari 2014 toen ik voor de eerste keer op de Linda Blind Farm School kwam. Prachtig wat er allemaal mogelijk is gemaakt voor deze kinderen. Alleen met vereende krachten van alle ambassadeurs, sponsoren en donateurs, iedereen die gratis op welke manier dan ook meehelpt, tips geeft of deuren opent, met hulp van scholen met een sponsorloop, meubilair donaties en andere prachtige acties, met de Lions en nog meer in het bijzonder met Koopmans BV die het vertrouwen gaven voor de start van de primary school, met TEDx waardoor de kinderen wereldwijd een stem kregen en nog steeds krijgen, met iedereen die aan de container bijgedragen heeft, met Wilde Ganzen, met alle vrijwilligers door de jaren heen, met iedereen die ik hier zelfs nu niet noemen, en last but absoluut niet least zonder alle partners in Zambia met daarbij op een bijzondere plaats Kennedy en Rabeccah Mukumbo van Dream Livingstone Zambia, Monique die al voor 2014 potentie zag in de school en dat altijd is blijven zien, Mr Thomas als de belangrijke iniatiatiefnemer,  the Ministry of Education, the teachers natuurlijk, the ZAPD en John Muleya van Gig Nidole die als aannemer de primary school van de grond getrokken heeft.

While the storms swept Corrie, Dudley and Eunice through the Netherlands and shook everything, the pre-school children sit quietly, in their own school desks, on their own chairs, with their own books in their own Linda Blind Farm pre-school. Even two-year-old Tandiwe is getting used to school life at a very early age. The children of the pre school (the Linda Blind Farm School has a Nursery class, a middle class and a reception class in the pre school), are the future of the primary school. So that will be fine in the years to come.

See for yourself with how much pleasure, attention and concentration they do their school  work. What a huge difference compared to February 2014 when I visited the Linda Blind Farm School for the first time. Wonderful what has been made possible for these children. Only with the combined efforts of all ambassadors, sponsors and donors, everyone who helps for free in any way, gives tips or opens doors, with the help of schools with a sponsor walk, furniture donations and other wonderful actions, with the help of the Lions and specially Koopmans BV, with TEDx of course which made it possible to give the children a world-wide voice, with everyone who contributed to the container, with Foundation Wilde Ganzen (Wild Geese), with all the volunteers over the years, with everyone I can’t even mention here now, And last but absolutely not least without all the partners in Zambia specially Kennedy and Rabeccah Mukumbo of Dream Livingstone Zambia, Monique who already saw the potential in the school far before 2014 and has always continued to support the investments in the future of the children, Mr Thomas as the important initiator, the Ministry of Education, the teachers of course, the ZAPD and John Muleya of Gig Nidole who as contractor has pulled the primary school of the ground.
