Op 8 maart was het team van de Xavier Community School er ook weer bij. Ze waren niet over het hoofd te zien. In de International Women’s Day March door de straten van Livingstone in Zambia. Regen, wind, het kon hen niet deren. Met duizenden liepen ze de hele optocht. Ooit begonnen de Linda Blind Farm School met 3 moedige, sterke vrouwen en kijk hier het team van de Xavier Community School anno 2026! Twee mensen staan niet op de foto.
Internationale Vrouwendag is een extra moment om stil te staan bij de ongelooflijke impact die vrouwen elke dag maken, bijvoorbeeld als leraren en rolmodellen voor kinderen. Ook op de Xavier Community School. Samen met hun mannelijke collega’s natuurlijk. Als een team.

On March 8, the team from Xavier Community School was there again. They were impossible to miss. They took part in the International Women’s Day March through the streets of Livingstone, Zambia. Rain or wind, nothing could stop them marching on. They marched the entire route alongside thousands of others. It all started with three strong and courageous women at the Linda Blind Farm School—and look at the Xavier Community School team in 2026! And two people missing on the picture.
International Women’s Day is a time to recognize the incredible impact women make every single day, for instance in being teachers and role models for children. They play a powerful role in shaping a better, more inclusive world. Together with their male-colleagues of course. As a team!
