Roofers at work at the Linda Blind Farm (primary) school. Sometimes it is handy if you have some acrobatic skills as a roofer.. No asphalt, no gravel but (waterproof) iron sheets. Attached on a steel construction. One of the lessons learned from the pre school where we used a wooden roofconstruction to attach the sheets. But it appeared wood is the favorite dish of thermits. So every year those thermits have to be beaten by painting this wooden construct with something the thermits don’t like at all. Expensive and time-consuming too. So this time choose another, much better solution for the roofconstruction. More expensive, yes but much more sustainable and in the end less expensive and time-consuming too. As you view this video, the roof already is closed and we went on to the next phase. More to come!
